Join Capital City CPR for in person Heat Illness Training
This course gives construction professionals the knowledge and tools to prevent, recognize, and respond to heat-related illnesses in the workplace. Attendees will review OSHA’s Heat Illness Prevention standards and learn actionable steps for both employers and workers, including hydration, acclimatization, shade/rest requirements, and emergency response planning. Participants will leave with clear strategies to keep their crews safe and compliant during hot weather conditions.
Instructor: Ryan Armstrong is the founder and lead instructor at Capital City CPR, Sacramento's trusted provider of high-impact emergency response training for workplaces, public agencies, and outdoor professionals. Drawing from years of real-world emergency medical experience, Ryan brings both clinical knowledge and relatable instruction to every course he leads.
