Architectural Mentor
Support the students while they design their plans, between January and February. You are introduced to a school to help either in-person or virtually for a maximum of two hours to help them with their preliminary plans. The level of experience that the students and teachers have will vary.
Preliminary Plan Reviewer
You receive two or three sets of plans to review and provide feedback to the schools. This can take a couple hours in the month of February and is a learning opportunity for the students.
Competition Judge
Join us at the competition on the first or second day to walk the job sites and score each team’s structure that they have built over the course of the two days. The times will vary depending on the judging role and can take a few hours to complete.
Planning Committee Member
Help orchestrate the success of our events. As a member, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team to develop and execute event strategies, manage logistics, and ensure a seamless experience for all participants. The time commitment is fairly minimal with one-hour virtual meetings, four times leading up to the competition with responsibilities that may include vendor coordination, scheduling, and on-site support. Your organizational skills and creativity are key to bringing our vision to life.
General Volunteer
We need help with various tasks on Tuesday for set-up and material distribution, as well as on both days of the competition to ensure everything runs smoothly. Your involvement is crucial to making this event a success. Thank you for your support!
