With a half-million cardiac arrests each year, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) can help save a life if a person's breathing or heart stops. It's not just for healthcare workers and emergency responders. In fact, CPR can double or triple the chance of survival when bystanders take action. The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification training through the American Red Cross will help employees be prepared to act when emergencies arise. Students will learn crucial steps through classroom learning and hands-on skill practices on recognizing emergencies, performing CPR, how to use an AED, saving someone from choking, handling life-threatening bleeding, and more! Certifications are valid for 2 years.
Instructor: Anh Ho is a Senior Safety Trainer at Bizhaven. Anh is a graduate from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Occupational Health and Safety. He has a wide range of safety knowledge through his experience in the manufacturing and construction industries as a certified first aid/CPR and equipment instructor, and an authorized OSHA outreach construction trainer. Anh is committed to assisting clients by providing resources, training, and helping to identify and eliminate any safety or health hazards at the work site.
